Danielle Williams is a member of the Patent Litigation Team. She has extensive trial and arbitration experience, having handled a wide range of business disputes, including patent infringement, securities fraud and complex contract matters in a number of federal and state courts. Since 2004, she has concentrated her practice on patent litigation. She has represented companies in patent infringement actions in North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Minnesota, Florida, Delaware, Puerto Rico, California and Oklahoma. She has litigated patents in a wide range of technologies, including software, computer hardware, Internet and e-commerce systems, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications. Ms. Williams has extensive experience in handling high-risk, multi-patent, multi-product, multi-defendant cases. She regularly advises clients regarding various pre-suit patent litigation issues, including indemnity obligations, declaratory judgment options and other matters. She has authored articles on patent litigation, electronic discovery and time management and has presented CLEs on patent litigation and electronic discovery. Ms. Williams is also co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and serves as a member of the firm’s Partnership Committee.
