Shane Ramsey focuses his practice on financial restructuring and bankruptcy. Mr. Ramsey represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditor committees, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings, pre-bankruptcy workouts, and bankruptcy-related litigation.
In 2011, Mr. Ramsey was selected as one of the top 30 nominees nationwide to attend the 2011 National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program for up-and-coming bankruptcy attorneys being recognized for their professional accomplishments to date.
Mr. Ramsey is involved with numerous pro bono activities. He coordinates the Reaffirmation Project, an initiative developed by the Bankruptcy Section of the Atlanta Bar Association in collaboration with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and financially supported by a grant from the American College of Bankruptcy. The project provides free legal counsel to unrepresented debtors seeking to enter into reaffirmation agreements. He has also represented a number of pro bono clients in non-dischargability actions under the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Ramsey is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell.*
